Hallway into an Immersive Journey - OnInOff at W Hotel Barcelona

We had the opportunity to become the heart of the installation, turning the hallway floor into a responsive surface that reacted in real time to the movement of visitors. As people walked through the space, visuals unfolded beneath their feet, generating flowing shapes and wave-like patterns that evoked a new, unexpected behavior of water.

This dynamic interaction was fully powered by our OnInOff solution, creating a seamless connection between the visitor and the environment through our latest technology. It turned the simple act of walking down a hallway into an immersive and living experience. The project came to life through the creative direction of External Reference, with visual content created by Onionlab and technical integration coordinated by Lloc Audiovisuals.

The inspiration for the content was drawn directly from the surroundings. The textures, colors and fluidity of the Mediterranean Sea influenced the visual language, which used soft gradients and subtle distortions to evoke a dreamlike and abstract atmosphere. The floor was designed not just as a decorative surface but as a piece of digital art in constant motion. The result was a space that felt alive, an artistic experience integrated into the architecture of the hotel.
